Responsible For: Supporting the monitoring of the Financial Stability & Fair Play regulations among the participating clubs.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Employer: Euroleague Entertainment & Services SLU

Probationary period: 2 months

 

 

 

Job Purpose

 

The post holder will contribute to the achievement of the performance targets, aims and objectives of the company through the following:

 

• Providing support in the Sport Finance area.

• Assisting in the execution of the Department needs.

• Assisting in financial data collection, preliminary analysis, and day-to-day tasks.

• Assist in the monitoring compliance with the Financial Stability & Fair Play Regulations (FSFPR) in the Euroleague Basketball Competitions

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Assist in collecting financial statements from Euroleague Basketball clubs and ensure all required documents are submitted on time.

• Perform preliminary checks to validate that club financial data aligns with standardized reporting formats and flag inconsistencies.

• Enter financial data into the department’s databases.

• Conduct initial reviews of club financial statements, identifying any anomalies or missing details.

• Maintain organized records of compliance tracking and financial reporting while updating compliance checklists to monitor adherence to FSFPR.

• Support the documentation of breaches or violations and compile initial drafts of incident reports.

• Maintain secure and organized storage of sensitive financial data in compliance with Euroleague Basketball’s policies and data protection regulations.

• Ensure proper handling of confidential information in communications and documentation.

• Assist the Sports Finance Department with other relevant tasks and projects as required.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting.

• Knowledge and experience in finance, with 1 year of accounting or audit experience.

• Familiarity with financial reporting, balance sheets, and compliance practices.

• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good Microsoft Excel skills and financial database systems.

• Basic knowledge of data reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

• Effective administrative and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively, supporting senior team members

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.

• Demonstrates integrity, fairness, and ethical conduct in all professional interactions.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

• Positive attitude and a collaborative team player.
