Main goal
The Ceremonies (CERE) project delivers captivating experiences and stunning visuals for stadium audiences and millions of TV viewers globally. As a Ceremonies Specialist, you’ll help plan and execute the opening and medal ceremonies for top UEFA finals, including the Europa League, Women’s Champions League, and Nations League, working closely with in-house teams to ensure that everything runs seamlessly.
Key responsibilities
OPERATIONS
Event planning and execution: Drive the creative concept and oversee the full production of ceremonies
Project management: Manage timelines, budgets and resources while coordinating multiple projects
Logistics: Oversee facilities, IT, accreditation and volunteer needs
Stakeholder engagement: Lead agencies and suppliers, and prepare key documents for stakeholders
Budget management: Handle budgeting, procurement and financial tracking from start to finish
Team leadership: Guide and mentor the project team throughout the event
COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION
Foster strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
Build solid supplier partnerships using clear communication
Ensure that in-house teams have the project information they need
Create networking opportunities to strengthen team connections
Skills & Requirements
Experience
Minimum of five years working in event planning and project management
Experience of ceremonies and live broadcasts, especially in football
Proven experience working with agencies
Other mandatory requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
Excellent English, both written and oral
Strong communication, including the ability to influence and create impact
Effective leader who inspires and motivates
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Excellent team player
