DAZN France is seeking a flexible, analytical and high energy Commercial & Business Development Lead that can monetize and expand our strategic partnerships across B2C and B2B.
You’ll be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and managing key partnerships at CxO level required to grow the business in France. You’ll lead the process on commercial negotiations for business agreements, provide in-depth expertise and decision making support to senior management.
As our Commercial and Business Development Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in maximizing the value from each strategic partner we are working with. You play a key role in defining our commercial partnership strategy in France and you will be expediting and driving new and existing partnership opportunities.
The position will report into the CEO, France, and work alongside the commercial team in-market and globally. Further, there is a wide array of interactions with the wider business (Content Development, Editorial & Programming, Rights Holders/ Commercial, Legal, Finance, Product, Strategy) to be managed. This role will be based in Paris, France.
As our new Commercial & Business Development Lead for DAZN France, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Own the revenue targets and results reporting on a regular basis.
Deliver multidimensional assessments and executive recommendations to local and global leadership.
Drive business innovation in adjacent business areas, such as eCommerce.
Own the relationship with partners such as telecom operators, OEMs and others growing existent business and continuously looking for new opportunities to increase revenue.
Design and implement a local business development strategy in line with the overall group strategy, ensuring timely delivery in close collaboration with local and global senior management, product, legal and marketing teams.
Develop and cultivate productive relationships with key stakeholders in the business and act as the key point of contact for all partner related queries, ensuring targets are achieved.
Lead a highly-skilled team structured to develop best practice distribution strategies and go-to-market plans.
You’ll have:
Proven track record as a Leader with experience in a similar role.
Track record of implementing and constantly improving delivery of a variety of partnerships.
Excellent network within telecom operators, broadcasters, OEMs, ISPs.
Demonstrable experience developing strategic business plans in agile, ever-changing environments.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data for business casing and to back up actions.
Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written.
