Your mission
We are seeking a Director of Technical Product Management to define, orchestrate, and elevate the digital fan experience for our over 200M fans worldwide. This leader will be responsible for crafting and optimizing end-to-end fan journeys across all Euroleague Basketball owned digital platforms, ensuring we deliver meaningful value to every fan segment. With full accountability for shaping the product vision, translating fan insights into scalable solutions, and driving cross-functional execution, this role is critical to building a cohesive, data-informed, and technology-driven ecosystem that deepens engagement and unlocks new growth opportunities for the organization. This role leads the development of multi-year digital programmes and long-term platform roadmaps, driving sustained transformation across the Euroleague fan facing digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for the global fan experience, ensuring cohesive and personalized journeys across all Euroleague Basketball digital touchpoints, as well as alignment with business goals. This includes building multi-year programme plans that scale across markets, platforms, and fan segments.
Lead cross-functional teams (external vendors, data, marketing, partnerships, product marketing) to shape and deliver scalable, high-impact fan-facing solutions.
Translate fan insights, data signals, and market trends into product strategies that drive engagement, retention, and value across diverse fan segments, as well as meaningful revenue streams for Euroleague and its partners.
Define audience segmentation strategies, partnering closely with Data teams to ensure a deep understanding of target audience needs, behaviours, and lifetime value, as well as having platforms that enable advanced segmentation, personalization and actionable insights.
Maximize the value extracted from cloud vendor technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring modern architectures, AI/ML capabilities, and scalable infrastructure underpin all fan experiences.
Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous learning through A/B testing, user research, and data-driven decision making.
Establish strong product governance practices, ensuring clarity in requirements, prioritization, and delivery frameworks. This includes definition of objective and results, backlog management processes, and cross-departmental alignment mechanisms.
Integrate GenAI and AI-driven capabilities (content automation, personalization engines, fan support, predictive engagement models) into the product roadmap to unlock new scale and efficiency.
Oversee and collaborate with both internal and external teams to ensure high-quality fan journeys, live game experiences, content discovery flows, and appropriate channel interaction models.
Align with commercial, content, broadcast, ticketing and merchandise key stakeholders to ensure product experiences support revenue, brand, and partner requirements.
Ensure all digital platforms and data practices comply with GDPR, privacy, consent management, and security requirements
Your profile
10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years driving complex, multi-platform digital products.
Proven track record of building and scaling consumer-facing experiences in tech environments. Experience within sports, entertainment, media, or other high-engagement environments is valued but not required.
Strong technical background with the ability to collaborate deeply with engineering, data, and architecture teams; experience with cloud platforms and data ecosystems is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to translate data insights, segmentation models, and user research into actionable product strategies.
Understanding of digital monetization levers.
Exceptional strategic thinking, with the ability to define long-term product vision while managing near-term delivery. Experience developing executive-ready business cases, and long-term platform roadmaps is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and build alignment across departments.
Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and outcome-driven development.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and guide teams through ambiguity.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within the sports business environment.
Experience managing or mentoring product managers, designers, or cross-functional contributors is strongly preferred.
Experience leveraging cloud vendor tooling, AI/ML platforms, and GenAI services to deliver scalable and innovative digital experiences.
Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
Holder of EU nationality or valid work/residency permit for Spain.
