Reporting organisationally to the Head of Technical Services, the Manager, Power will be a key member of the FIFA26 Infrastructure & Technical Services team, and work in close collaboration with other key individuals responsible for planning and delivery of the Power solutions at all FIFA World Cup 2026 sites across Canada.

 

 

 

 

THE POSITION

 

 

Reporting organisationally to the Head of Technical Services, the Manager, Power will be a key member of the FIFA26 Infrastructure & Technical Services team, and work in close collaboration with other key individuals responsible for planning and delivery of the Power solutions at all FIFA World Cup 2026 sites across Canada.

 

 

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Manager, Power for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ include:

Working with the Lead Power Manager
Coordinating the activities of the Venue Power Managers across Canada
Working with key non broadcast FIFA functional areas to refine their Venue and Overlay power requirements at Stadiums and other official sites
Working with the stadium power teams to ensure the seamless delivery of the Venue and Overlay Power solutions
Monitoring and coordinating the progress and quality of the Venue and Overlay Power setup ensuring it is in line with the requirements
Managing the contract with the power provider, which includes overseeing the scope of work, design specifications, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), and other operational aspects.
Working with training sites and other official sites to ensure compliance to FIFA Standards
Coordinating the conducting of the necessary stress tests on the Venue and Overlay Power setup across all FIFA official sites
During the installations and operations phase, the regional power manager will spend most of their time on-site, managing operations and installations.
This position requires travel across the FWC26 Venues located in Canada and may require occasional travel to additional FWC26 locations.

Education & Qualifications

 

 

• Bachelor’s degree or similar

 

 

Work Experience

• Planning and delivering Power solutions at large scale sport events
• Planning and delivering Power solutions at Stadiums or Arenas

 

 

Languages

• Fluent in English. French proficiency is a plus

 

 

Technology

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
